Vyombo

I’m over here nikiosha vyombo very peacefully. It’s a bit cloudy today so the weather is perfect. The birds are singing, the crickets have just gone into their usual hiding place and a random butterfly blissfully spatters past.

I pick up a serving dish and soap it with hot water, ensuring every egde is clean. I’m almost done with the vyombos. I’m happy. A song pops into my mind and I jig my shoulders kidogo as I sing it, “Jibebe bebe, nana jibebe bebe”..

Then Mwamisilet chimes in, “lakini daddy wewe huwezi jibeba. Wewe ni mnono”.

*packs bag and moves to valley of peace*
